Have South Africa REALLY changed?

I am proudly South African and i am proud to say it.
We are living in a diverse country with democratic rights.
14 years down the line we could almost believe that the times of apartheid / discrimination have long past, but sometimes I do wonder.
Taking with the happenings of the past week regarding the whole “Is FTV Sandton Racism” and that my best friend and colleague just had a smash and grab experience, I have to ask myself where do we draw the line?
I mean, as a person with rights to raise my voice, I guess I have the right to question the following:
When people of color feel their rights have been violated or they have been discriminated at all they are quick to jump and create Facebook groups, write articles to newspapers and start a heavy debate, but when white people are violated or discriminated by people of color, we just have to simply keep quiet.
Where is the sense in all of this? I mean then I really do have to ask myself the question, have we really changed as a democratic country and do we really have equality?

I have read the 'Is FTV racist?' group's comments on a daily basis - what people say and how people think leaves a terrible taste in my mouth! Afraid to comment there , I now say this here:
Wake up people and
Open your eyes
Everything that happens in life
does NOT happen because of colour
and if you think it does:
you truely are blind!
